.This institution was started in the year 1966-67. This is a grant in aid institution since 24.6.1966. The college offers three years B.A., B.Sc.,B.Com.,and B.B.M. grduate degree courses. Dr.H.S. Niranjanaradhya is the principal of the college. This institution is a B+ grade accredited College by the NAAC.

Sree Siddaganga first grade College of Arts and Commerce, located in Nelamangala established in the year 1984-85, is the pioneer in catering education in the field of social sciences, commerce and Management at the UG level in the Bangalore rural district of Karnataka State. It is managed by Sree Siddaganga Education society Tumkur, of which Karnataka Rathna Dr. Sree Sree Shivakumara Swamiji of Siddaganaga Kshethra is the President. Sree Siddaganga Education Society manages 122 institutions ranging from primary schools to Post-graduate departments, an Engineering College and Professional Colleges. Our college offers three UG courses, namely B.A, B.Com and B.B.M, offered by Bangalore University. The institution is making all efforts to realize its noble mission of providing professional education at an affordable cost by admitting students of all walks of life.  Our students have excelled both in curricular and extra curricular activities. Although this is a rural college, so far the college has secured 8 ranks at the University Level. Competent and dynamic students of the college have actively taken part in the competitions held at State and University Levels, winning several laurels and overall championships right from the inception of the college. At present the college has a runner up women Kabbadi team at Inter University level.
